Funeral services for Mary Mattox were held Monday, Dec. 13, 1999, at Ludlow Community Church with arrangements by Lindley Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial was at Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow. Memorial contributions may be sent to the cemetery in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, 64601.
Mary Lou (Wheelbarger) Mattox, 66, Ludlow, died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at her home.
Mrs. Mattox was born in Brookfield. She was a graduate of Ludlow High School.
Mrs. Mattox formed gloves at Lambert Manufacturing Co. for eight years.
On Aug. 10, 1963, she married Clarence E. Mattox in Ludlow. He died earlier this year.
Mrs. Mattox also was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Survivors include a son, Clarence E. Jr., Ludlow; a step-son, Larry, Gladstone, Mo.; a daughter, Ruby Curley, Ludlow; a step-daughter, Shirley Turner, Jamesport, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Wheelbarger, Bolivar, Mo., and Carl A. Wheelbarger, Dawn, Mo.; two step-grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.
