Memorial services for Donald Shireman, a former resident of Gallatin, were held Friday at Bram Funeral Home in Maysville. The body was cremated.

Donald Clark Shireman, 41, Cameron, formerly of Maysville, Mo., died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at his residence.

Mr. Shireman was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He lived in Raytown, before moving to Gallatin and Maysville. He resided in Cameron for two years. He attended the Raytown high school.

Mr. Shireman was a veteran of the Army, serving four years.

Mr. Shireman worked at the main post office in Kansas City. He also was a nurse’s aide at health-care centers in Maysville and Gallatin.

He was a member of the Community Christian Church in Kansas City.

Mr. Shireman was preceded in death by his father, William E.; a brother, Keith; and his paternal grandfather, William E. Shireman.

Survivors include a son, William E., Grandview; his mother, Martha E. Shireman, Maysville; a brother, James, Richmond; a sister, Linda Shireman, Raytown; his paternal grandmother, Naomi Shireman, Maysville; and his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Lucile Chase, Maysville.
