Agriculture students from North Central Missouri College in Trenton, including McKinzie Pendleton of Gallatin and Josh Shuler of Jamesport, had outstanding performances at the State Post-secondary Agriculture Student (PAS) Organization Conference held Nov. 21-23 at the Lake of the Ozarks.

NCMC brought home 22 first and second place awards in seven activities. Overall, NCMC qualified individuals and teams for 17 events at the national conference to be held March 6-12 in Des Moines, Iowa.

McKinzie Pendleton placed first in Specialized Crops and Josh Shuler received first in Ag Management & Marketing, which qualified them both for nationals. Josh also placed first in Ag Equipment Service and second in the sophomore college bowl team.

NCMC has 21 students currently enrolled in agriculture, and 16 of them attended the state conference; more than 100 students from around the state participated in the event. Bill Hinkebein is NCMC advisor and agriculture instructor. Hinkebein is also a national board member.@break = t49ncmc-ag.prt
