The North Central Missouri College women’s basketball team upped it’s season record to 10-1 last Wednesday night by defeating Iowa Central Community College, 76-71, in Trenton.

Gallatin R-5 grad Devin Hamilton hit 5 of 6 free throws in the final 49 seconds of the game to keep ICCC at bay. She finished with 17 points for the Lady Pirates, behind Princeton grad Tina Gibson’s game-leading 26- point effort. Hamilton finished with a 15 of 22 performance from the foul line.

The NCMC women lost their first and only game of the season last Tuesday to State Fair Community College (76-66). The Lady Pirates will host Des Moines Community College tonight (Wednesday) at 5 p.m. in the Ketcham Center.
