Funeral services for Marjorie Harlow were held Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at Bram Funeral Home, Gallatin. Burial was at Brown Cemetery, Gallatin. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church, Gallatin, or the Senior Citizens Center, Gallatin.
Marjorie Lucille Harlow, 82, Gallatin, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at the Liberty Hospital.
Mrs. Harlow was born at Sampsel. She was raised in Livingston County and attended rural schools.
Mrs. Harlow and her late husband, Virgil, owned and operated the Harlow Restaurant in Gallatin. She also cooked at the McDonald Tea Room, and was a cashier at the Park & Shop Grocery Store, both in Gallatin, for almost 20 years.
Mrs. Harlow was a member of the Untied Methodist Church and was active in the Senior Citizen Center, both of Gallatin.
On Feb. 15, 1941, she married Virgil L. Harlow at Gallatin. He died on Jan. 29, 1998.
Mrs. Harlow was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald.
Survivors include one son, Larry, Harrisonville; one daughter, Lillian Huggins, Raytown; two sisters, Geraldine Henry, Malta Bend, and Thurma Harlow, Wichita, Kan.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
