Lavo Courter
Funeral services for Lavo Courter will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial will be in Coffey Cemetery. There is no scheduled family visitation but friends may call anytime after 9 a.m. on Friday at the Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany.
Lavo Courter, 90, Bethany, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at the home.
Mrs. Courter, a homemaker, was born in Ridgeway.
On May 13, 1939, she married Charles H. Courter. He died on May 26, 1999.
Mrs. Courter was also preceded in death by a brother, P.R. “Skinny” Hansell; and two sisters, Claudine Hansell and Velma Courter.
Survivors include a son, Max Courter, Coffey; a daughter, Peggy Heldenbrand, Bethany; a sister, Voncille Utterback, Gallatin; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and several step great- grandchildren.
