On Nov. 23, the Pattonsburg third grade class made and ate a Thanksgiving dinner in the classroom. The students had turkey and sweet pickles and many other kinds of Thanksgiving foods. Most brought food, but the cornbread and stuffing was made by the students. All the children helped. Some had to measure, some had to stir, and some had to clean up. The students dressed up like Pilgrims and Indians. They made their own costumes. They lined up their desks into a long table. Their favorite part was when they ate the pie. The students had pumpkin, chocolate and apple pie. [Submitted Photo]
