Gallatin R-5 band members Andy Weldon and Kenny Youtsey auditioned for the Northwest Missouri All-District Band at Lafayette High School in St. Joe on Nov. 6. The band will perform in concert on Dec. 11 at Northwest Missouri State University. Andy, Kenny and Wes Gay were recently selected for the North Central Missouri Bandmaster Association Clinic Band. The Association’s 49th annual clinic and concert will be held Nov. 22 at Chillicothe High School. The Gallatin band, grades fifth through twelfth, will perform in a Holiday Concert on Dec. 8.
