Lester Rushton
Funeral services for Lester Rushton, father of Stan of Gallatin, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at the First Baptist Church in Linneus. Arrangements are by Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Linneus. Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church. Lester Rushton, 73, Linneus, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.
Mr. Russell was born in Newtown, Iowa.
He was a Navy veteran of World War Two.
He was retired from Donaldson’s in Chillicothe, after 25 years of service.
Mr. Rushton was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linneus, where he served as a deacon.
In 1947, he married Letha Thompson. She survives of the home.
Mr. Rushton was preceded in death by one brother.
Other survivors include a daughter, Janell Sisson of Linneus; six grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
