James Cashatt

Funeral services for James Cashatt, a brother of Pauline Watson of Gallatin, were held today (Wednesday, Nov. 24) at the Kidder Christian Church with Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton, officiating. Burial was at Kidder Cemetery.

James Daniel Cashatt, 78, Kidder, died Nov. 20, 1999, at a Liberty hospital.

Mr. Cashatt was born in Breckenridge. He lived in the Kidder area most of his life.

He served in the Army during World War II.

Mr. Cashatt was a highway maintenance worker, retiring in 1985.

He was a member of the Kidder Christian Church and American Legion Post No. 2000.

On Aug. 16, 1952, he married Sue Harrington in Altamont. She survives of the home.

Mr. Cashatt was preceded in death by four sisters, Inez Hill, Beatrice Nupp, Virginia Crabb and Jeanie Setzer; and brother, Bob.

Other survivors include a son, James, Kidder; another sister, Martha Latham of Arkansas; and a brother, Billy H. of Schuyler, Va.
