Fall sports banquet

The 1999 Gallatin Bulldogs Fall Sports Banquet was held last Friday night to honor and recognize R-5 athletes, statisticians, managers, cheerleaders and academic all-conference award winners. Students and athletes recognized by their respective coaches with either certificates of particpation or varsity letters were:

Girls Golf: seniors Allison Spidle (all-GRC, district) and Rebecca Stith, juniors Jamie Burnett and Kara Sullenger (all-GRC), sophomores Kari Dickinson (all-GRC), Mackenzie Riley (all-GRC), Trine Kristiansen and Erin Sweatman; and freshmen Lauren Henderson, Roxanne Hostetler and Jamie Lunsford. Special awards: rookie of the year : Jamie Lunsford, most improved : Mackenzie Riley, co-MVPs : Kari Dickinson and Allison Spidle, 4-year letter winner : Allison Spidle.

Stats and Managers: Anna Barton, Rochelle Davitt, Brittney Hixson, Ida Jarboe, Caleb Leeper and Kyle Hefley.

Cheerleaders: senior co-captains Kelly Story and Chanel Burge; sophomore Jo Ann Tummons and freshmen Emily Baldwin, Crystal Chadwick, Priscilla Ford, Lauren Henderson and Jamie Lunsford. Mascot: Jacklyn Albrecht, Jessica King and Shannon O’Dell.

Girls Softball: seniors Shannon Batson (all-GRC) and Courtney Houghton, juniors Rochelle Davitt, Meredith McCann and Pam Walker; sophomore Kim Clevenger and freshmen Amanda Bohannon, Kamille Burrell, Kayli Burrell, Brook Carder, Roxanne Davitt, Jessica King and Laura McCann.
