Daviess County Business Women’s Association met Nov. 9 with Rose’s Sweet Shop catering our meal. Sixteen were in attendance with two guests, Betty Harmison and Doris Croy. Treasurer’s and secretary’s reports were approved during our business meeting. Plans were made for our Christmas gift baskets and we will be gift wrapping at Places the four Saturdays before Christmas. Birthday drawings went to Mary Virginia Croy and Sue Downey. A very successful fund-raiser auction was our program for the evening. All proceeds go toward our scholarship fund.
