Gallatin Garden Club
The Gallatin Garden Club met Oct. 19 at the Willis Elliott Orchard near Spickard for lunch. Eleven members and two guests attended. The next meeting is at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Breadeaux. The money-making project is an auction. Everyone is welcome to invite a guest. All are asked to bring a couple of items anyone would be glad to buy to give as a gift. This is not a white elephant sale.
Daviess County Business Women’s Association
Daviess County Business Women’s Association met Oct. 12 with 12 members present. Lola Critten shared stories and photos of her European trip last spring. All members are reminded that the Nov. 9 meeting will be the annual fund-raiser auction with proceeds going toward the scholarship fund.
