Lisa Daniels has been named president of hte Kansas City Society of Association Executives.
Lisa Daniels, CAE, has been named the 1999-2000 president of the Kansas City Society of Association Executives (KCSAE). Mrs. Daniels is a graduate of Gallatin R-5 High School and the daughter of Edna Wilson of Altamont.
KCSAE is the allied society of ASAE, the American Society of Association Executives. KCSAE serves the educational and networking needs of association leaders in the nonprofit sector in the greater Kansas City area, with members from St. Joseph to Springfield and Warrensburg to Lawrence, Kan.
Mrs. Daniels works as an association executive with Martin Fromm & Associates (MF&A), a Kansas City-based association management firm. Prior to joining MF&A four years ago, Daniels worked for the International Association of Plastics Distributors and the American Lung Association.
She is currently the Executive Director of the Association for Psychological Type, an international organization serving the needs of the 6,000 members who use personality indicators as part of their profession, such as counselors, educators, researchers and trainers.
Mrs. Daniels also serves as Executive Director of the Association for Accounting Marketing, a group of 400 marketing professionals working primarily for regional, national and international accounting firms.
Mrs. Daniels earned a Certified Association Executive designation from ASAE in 1992 and finished a master’s degree in nonprofit management from UMKC in 1996. She is the wife of Joe Daniels, director of the Carrollton Area Vocational-Technical School.
