There will be a great deal of activity going on at the Poosey Conservation Area on Sunday, Oct. 10, when the Fall Driving Tour will be taking place from noon to 4 p.m.
Travel almost seven miles of scenic interior access roads not normally open to vehicles. View conservation management for wildlife, prairie grasses, crops, forests and streams. Visit the area called Poosey and stop at the Panther’s Den.
Hunters and trail riders should be advised that the Pike area and rocked roads will be closed off on Saturday for the tour on Sunday.
Missouri Department of Conservation Wildlife, Fisheries, Forestry and Protection employees will be present for questions or discussions of resource management topics. Have an enjoyable visit at Poosey and the Missouri Outdoors.
The entrance to the Poosey Conservation area fall driving tour will be on the east side of the Area (the Pike Lake area).
