Luella Elam

Memorial services for Luella Elam were held Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, North Kansas City. The body was cremated.

Luella (Persinger) Elam, 90, North Kansas City, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at North Kansas City Hospital.

Mrs. Elam was born in McFall. She attended Grinnell College in Iowa.

In 1936, she married William E. Elam. Together, they moved to Kansas City in 1942, where they lived the past 57 years. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Elam was preceded in death by three brothers.

Other survivors include a son, Larry, Kansas City North; three daughters, Judy Moore of Kansas City North, formerly of Coffey and Pattonsburg, and Sharlyne Narr of Kansas City North, and Linda Fatkin, Wichita, Kan.; grandmother of Gene, Victor and Bill Nelson of Daviess County and Jim Nelson of North Kansas City (formerly of Pattonsburg); four other grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
