Navy Seaman Apprentice Shelly R. Taul has graduated from the College of Naval Command and Staff at the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.
Taul is a radioman with the Information Technology Center in Newport, R.I. She is the daughter of Cathy and Alan Maddox of Gallatin and Donald K. Taul of St. Joseph. The seaman is a 1998 graduate of Gallatin High School.
At the college, the student’s professional capabilities are enhanced to make sound decisions in command and staff and managerial positions, and to conduct research leading to the development of advanced strategic and tactical concepts for the future of employment of naval forces.
