The former Hales Grocery Store building, on the east side of the Gallatin square, has been sold.
Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hales have sold the former Hales Grocery Store building to Kevin Ingram of Cameron, effective Tuesday, Aug. 24. Mr. Ingram plans to open a branch of ITEC Solutions Systems, now located in Cameron, as well as a new internet service. ITEC Solutions Systems is a custom PC designer as well as a computer service center.
The main branch of the computer store will continue to be located in Cameron. One or two people will be employed at the Gallatin location to start off, and more employees will be added in the future. Mr. Ingram plans to move in immediately and have the store open within two to four weeks.
The building purchased by ITEC Solutions Systems also houses Tom Garnett’s Shelter Insurance Agency. ITEC will continue to rent that office to Mr. Garnett. The south section of the former Hales Grocery Store, located next to the Daviess County Health Department, was not included in the sale Interior walls will be installed in order to divide the two buildings.
