For the 108th year, Jameson area residents will welcome all to their picnic. It runs Thursday through Saturday, Aug. 19-21, at the City Park.

The 108th Jameson Picnic will be held Aug. 19-21 at the Jameson City Park. The picnic features a talent show, nightly entertainment, drawings, an antique tractor pull, kids’ games and rides, a parade and a baby show.
The picnic is sponsored by the Jameson Lions Club in conjunction with the Missouri Arts Council. The Lions will be collecting old eyeglasses and hearing aids this year and request that you bring any which you may have to donate. Glaucoma testing will be held on Saturday. There will also be vision screening for children 5 and under. See the ad in this paper for more details.
