Louise May (Lewis) Walton, age 77, of Gallatin, died Thursday, July 29, 1999, at Cameron Community Hospital, Cameron, Missouri.

Mrs. Walton was born March 13, 1922, in Kansas City, MO and attended grade school in Independence, MO.

She was united in holy matrimony with Mr. Thomas “T.N.” Walton on June 2, 1956, in Independence, MO. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Walton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gallatin. She was a sales associate with the Katz Drug Store in Independence, and was also a homemaker.

Mrs. Walton grew up in Independence, MO, then moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she lived for five years before moving to the Gallatin area in 1961.

Mrs. Walton was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Beulah Lewis.

Survivors include her husband, T.N. Walton of the home; a stepdaughter, Pam Huston of Gallatin; one brother, Frank Lewis of Independence, MO; and two sisters, Wanda Holzbaur of Independence, MO, and Velma Rowe of Fort Myers, FL; five step-grandchildren and six step- great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held August 1, 1999, at the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home. Family visitation was held before the services on the same day. Interment was in the Brown Cemetery, Gallatin. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in care of the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home, 201 S. Market, Gallatin, MO 64640. Services were under the direction of the Hope- Eldringhoff Funeral Home, Gallatin, MO.
