Graveside services and burial for Essie Henry were held Monday, Aug. 2, 1999, at Bethel Cemetery in Pattonsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Cemetery or the United Methodist Church, Pattonsburg.
Essie Bell Henry, 97, Pattonsburg, died July 31, 1999, at a Cameron health-care center.
Mrs. Henry was born in Daviess County. She taught at McFall, Pattonsburg, Eagleville, Edgerton and Civil Bend, before her retirement.
She was married to Edmond Henry. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two nieces, Verniece Bush, Pattonsburg, and Shirley Agan, Lebanon, Ore.; two stepgrandchidlren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
