Graveside service and burial for Era Huffman, a former resident of Gallatin, were held Tuesday, July 20, 1999, at Civil Bend Christian Cemetery in Pattonsburg. Arrangements were by Lohmeyer- Konantz Funeral Home, Lamar.

Era S. Huffman, 88, Greenfield, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at a health-care center in Greenfield.

Mrs. Huffman was born southeast of Cameron in Caldwell County. She graduated from Cameron High School and attended Missouri Wesleyan College at Cameron. She moved to Gallatin in 1951.

Mrs. Huffman was employed by Western Auto Supply Company of Kansas City as a bookkeeper. She was also employed by Western Auto Association in Gallatin.

Mrs. Huffman was of the Christian faith.

In 1953, she married Virgil M. Huffman at Gallatin. He died in 1984.

Mrs. Huffman was also preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include a stepson, Paul Huffman, of Oklahoma, nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
