Edna May (Ferguson) England, age 103, of Jameson, Missouri, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at the Cameron Community Hospital, Cameron, Missouri.

Mrs. England was born on August 24, 1895, in Pattonsburg, Missouri. She attended the Constoga grade school near Pattonsburg., Missouri.

Mrs. England was a homemaker and had lived in the Daviess County area for most of her life.

Mrs. England was a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Berlin, Missouri, and attended the Jameson Baptist Church for many years.

On August 19, 1916, Miss Edna May Ferguson was united in holy matrimony with Mr. James L. England in Albany, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 14, 1981.

Mrs. England was also preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Martha Ferguson; four brothers, Joe Ferguson, Bill Ferguson, Lee Ferguson and Woodrow Ferguson; three sisters, Kate Sexton, Nellie Obrey and Roberta Walker; a grandson, Allen Lee Hall and a granddaughter, Amaryllis Cain; two daughters-in-law, Sally S. England and Bena M. England.

Survivors include three sons, James Harold England of Jameson, Missouri, Raymond Leroy England of Jacksonville, Florida, and Merle Eugene England of Hamilton, Missouri; three daughters, Frances Leona Kariker of Pattonsburg, Missouri, Viginia Lucille King of Gallatin, Missouri and Bessa June Hall of Wichita, Kansas; 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 49 great-great-grandchildren and many dear friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 26, 1999, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home, Gallatin, Missouri. Interment was held in the Memory Gardens Cemetery, Pattonsburg, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jameson Baptist Church, Jameson, Missouri, in care of the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home, 201 S. Market, Gallatin, Missouri 64640. Services were under the direction of the Hope-Eldringhoff Funeral Home, Gallatin, Missouri.
