Funeral services for Helen Boley were held Sunday, May 30, at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale. Burial was at Hurricane Cemetery, Hale. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Hurricane Cemetery in care of the funeral home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Louise (Barlow) Boley, 75, Hale, died Friday, May 28, 1999, at a Chillicothe hospital.

Born in Lock Springs, Mrs. Boley lived in Hale all of her life and attended Hale schools.

Mrs. Boley worked as a processor at Banquet and ConAgra Foods.

She was a member of Hale Baptist Church.

In 1944, she married Wesley Boley in Lathon, Okla. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Boley also was preceded in death by two sisters, Fern Toomay and Ula Young; and a brother, Ralph Barlow.

Survivors include a son, Richard, Hale; eight sisters, Wanda Simpson, Kansas City, Kan., Ruby Wing, Warsaw, Margaret Warren, Liberty, Mary Bell, Kansas City, Minnie Franklin, Independence, Ada Figg, Hale, and Reva Standley and Margie Gilmer, both of Carrollton; two brothers, Herb Barlow, Warsaw, and Carl Barlow, Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
