Holcombs to be honored on 50th anniversary

Elanson and Juanita (Shaw) Holcomb of New Hampton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 6, at the Eastwood Community Room, Bethany. Friends and relatives are invited. The couple requests no gifts. Cards may be sent to the honorees at 202 W. U.S. Hwy 136, New Hampton, MO 64471.

Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb were married May 29, 1949, in Concordia. He was a farmer and retired from the Missouri State Highway Department. She is retired from the Bank of Coffey. They are members of the Coffey Baptist Church.

Hosting the event will be their children, Marta and Jerry Newman of Albany and Gail and Ed Henry of Springfield. Also assisting will be a granddaughter, Alicia Newman. [Submitted Photo]
