Funeral services for Carl Schwab were held at 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday), May 26, at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brassfield Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to the funeral home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Carl Edward Schwab, 84, rural Chillicothe, died May 23, 1999, at Liberty Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Schwab was born and lived almost his entire life on a farm near Chillicothe, except for a brief time when he lived in California. He graduated from Potter school.
In 1935, he married Pearl Lula Martin in California. She died in 1999.
Mr. Schwab was a member of the Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Carl Schwab Jr., Edmond, Okla.; two daughters, Dixie Lee Christison and Nellie Joe Gaston, both of rural Chillicothe; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
