Carl (Gene) and Barbara (Frost) Landes of St. Joseph will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 3, which is also Carl’s birthday.

The anniversary couple exchanged wedding vows on that date in 1959 at the Baptist Church in Jameson.
Their children and the children’s spouses are Cynthia and Newton Robinson Jr. of Woodbridge, Va., Donna and Mitch Corbin and Janet and Clint Killin, all of Mound City. There are three grandsons and four granddaughters.
Gene is the son of Edna Landes of St. Joseph and the late J.B. Landes, formerly of Jameson. Barbara is the daughter of Marvin and Marjorie Frost of Gallatin. [Submitted Photo]
