Melissa Lynne Hessee and Russell Dean Reynolds, both of Kearney, announce their engagement and impending marriage. The bride is the daughter of Connie J. Kramer, Kearney, and Phillip R. Davis, Kansas City. Melissa is a 1986 graduate of Winnetonka High School, Kansas City North. She is an employee of the law firm of Lathrop and Gage, L.C., of Kansas City.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sanford E. Reynolds, Pattonsburg. Russell is a 1988 graduate of Pattonsburg R-2 High School. He is an employee of Mike Miller Construction Company, Kansas City.
