Sergeant Chad A. Fordyce, United States Marine Corps, and Tuanette A. Jeffries announce the birth of their first child, a son, at 8:36 p.m. on May 7, 1999, at Liberty Hospital. Taran Orion weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
