Services were opened by the singing of hymns and with prayer led by Betty McFee. John Stith read from I John 2:1-6, following with prayer. Sunday School concluded at Joshua 3:17. Israel crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land. The mothers were given special notice with the message, “Motherhood and the Stages of Life,” from II Timothy 1:5.
During evening’s services we discussed “What is God Like?” Special prayers are for Gene and Ellen Burnam, Nancy and Velma Wolf, Norma Gault, Bruce Shuman, Brett Lang, Vern Bridgman, Reuben Heldenbrand, George and Belle McFee, Gaylen Bridgeman and Leo Lang.
