Funeral services for Delbert Wilson, father of Sonna Walker, Johna Wilson and Jackie Nichols, all of Gallatin, were held at the Lindley Funeral Home in Ludlow on Monday, May 2. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Breckenridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ludlow Lions Club and may be left or mailed to the funeral home, PO Box 47, Chillicothe, 64601.

Delbert Wilson, 68, Ludlow, died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at the Veterans Hospital in Kansas City.
Mr. Wilson was born in Kansas City. He graduated from the Breckenridge High School in 1949.
He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict where he earned a Purple Heart.
Mr. Wilson was a construction worker and truck driver and had been a scuba diving instructor.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Ludlow Lions Club, DAV, and the American Legion.
In 1953, he married Sonya Landes in Breckenridge. She died in 1983. In 1985, he married Helen Shilhan Gruner in Gallatin. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include one son, Delbert “Scott” Wilson, Winifield, Kan.; his stepmother, Della Wilson, Winifield, Kan.; one brother, Jack, Kansas City; one sister, June Ann McCullugh, Chillicothe; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
