Lou Wyrick of Pattonsburg was one of five marketing/management technology students from the Boise State University College of Applied Technology who were among the first-place finishers at the 1999 Idaho Delta Epsilon Chi Career Development Conference.
The statewide competition was held in Boise recently. Students competed in 13 categories. The winners are eligible to travel to Orlando, Fla., May 1-4, to compete at the National Career Development Conference. Wyrick finished first in the Retail Merchandising competition.
Lou Ann is the former Lou Ann Hagler, a 1971 graduate of Pattonsburg High School. Her parents are Evalee Hagler of Boise and Forrest Hagler of Maysville. Her daughter is Cybill Wyrick of Pattonsburg.
