Christopher Cameron, 19, was seriously injured in an accident that happened at about 3:50 p.m. on Monday, June 8, in Daviess County.

According to the highway patrol, Christopher was driving a 2011 Honda motorcycle eastbound on Otter Avenue about five miles west of Gallatin. He attempted to pass three vehicles and lost control of the motorcycle. His motorbike went off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting Christopher, who came to rest on the south side of Otter Avenue. His motorcycle returned to the roadway and came to rest on Otter Avenue.

Christopher was transported by Life Flight Eagle to Truman Medical Center. He was wearing a helmet.

The motorcycle was totaled.

The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.R. Johnson, assisted by Tpr. J.P. Lynch and Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
