The 34-member Gallatin Bulldog Pride Band earned four exemplary “one” ratings at a recent music festival for their outstanding performances on two prepared pieces in addition to sight reading. The band participated in the Missouri State High School Activities Association State Music Festival for Large Ensembles on April 10 at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. The band performed “Air for Band” composed by Frank Erickson and “Call to Victory” by Karl King, arranged by James Swearingen. The band is under the direction of Xandria Obico.
