Funeral services for Wilma Jones, a former resident of Gallatin, were held at 1 p.m. on May 21, 2000, at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Guilford. Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home, Stanberry. Burial was at Weatherman Cemetery, Guilford.

Mrs. Jones, born in Guilford, was a graduate of its high school. She had lived in Gallatin and Bolckow.
She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Guilford, where she was a former Bible school teacher. She was also a former Brownie leader.
On June 6, 1937, she married Arthur L. Jones. He died in 1971.
Mrs. Jones was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vivian L. Thompson; and five sisters.
Survivors include two grandchildren.
