Velvred Mervis (Joe) Bailey, 85, Gallatin, formerly of Norman, Okla., died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Cameron Community Hospital.
Mr. Bailey was born in Gilmer, Texas. He was a resident of Daviess County Care Center in Gallatin.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
Mr. Bailey is survived by a son, Jerry of Jamesport.
Interment will be in the Jamesport Memorial with arrangements by Bram Funeral Home of Gallatin.
