If I were a dinosaur. . . . .

The Gallatin kindergarten classes participated in the school-wide MAP Day on Dec. 3. The goal of MAP Days is to help prepare students for the MAP test.

For the kindergarten MAP activity, the children made dinosaur lacing cards and dictated stories which began with…”If I were a dinosaur….”

If I were a dinosaur I would be T-Rex. I would walk on land. I would be very tall and I would be very hungry. I would eat meat. I would fight. I would kill other animals. I would lay eggs.

Kaitlyn Wilson

If I were a dinosaur I would want to be T-Rex. I would catch other dinosaurs. I would eat them. If I hatch from an egg I would be small. Then I would grow very fast. I would have very small arms and if I laid down I couldn’t get up very well. The other dinosaurs want to fight with me because they thought I would take their babies but I wanted them instead.
