Memorial services for Gallatin native Kevin Kordes will be held at 10 a.m. on June 30, 2012, at Hillcrest Cemetery. Family and friends are also invited to a Celebration of Life at Lions Club Hall following the memorial service.

Kevin died in a one car accident on April 26, 2012. Services were held in Rolla, Mo., on May 1, where he resided for 26 years. Kevin graduated from Gallatin High School, attended college at Mizzou and graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Service in 1984.
He married Robin Smith in Columbia on Aug. 26, 1983. He returned to Gallatin where he worked at Hope Funeral Home. Kevin purchased a funeral home in Rolla, Mo., and moved his family there in 1986. He continued in the business there for many years.
He is survived by his immediate family: wife Robin, daughter Amanda, son Kaleb, parents Kenneth and Kay Kordes and brother Keith Kordes.
