Funeral services for Clarse Evans were held Monday at Hopewell Baptist Church in Cowgill. Interment was at the Highland Cemetery, Hamilton. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Clarse A. Evans, 89, Hamilton, formerly of Cowgill, died Jan. 26, 2008.
Mr. Evans was born on Oct. 31, 1918, in Hamilton, to Albert and Lelah Edwards Evans.
On April 16, 1938, he married Virginia Varner of Gallatin. She survives of the home.
Survivors include six nieces and three nephews.
