Tamera Willis, 21, Excelsior Springs, was charged May 18 with failure to appear on five felony charges, Class B felony possession of controlled substance, two counts of the Class D felony unlawful use of a weapon, Class C felony burglary 2nd degree, and Class C felony stealing. She was arrested May 16 in Morehouse County, La., and is awaiting extradition to Daviess County. The charges stem from events which occurred on June 2, 2003, when Willis and two other persons allegedly held an elderly couple hostage in their home in Livingston County and were later apprehended in Daviess County.
Randall Comstock, 44, Gallatin, was charged May 23 with two felony counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held at Midwest Security Housing on $35,000 bond.
