Gallatin Fire Chief Doug Hamilton said there has been only one grass fire so far this year in the area. The Gallatin Fire Protection District has issued a burn ban until further notice.
Firefighters from the Gallatin Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1206 S. Prospect Tuesday morning. The home of Dennis and Tina Marshall belongs to John Thomas. The small grease fire in the kitchen was out by the time firefighters responded.
