Jeffrey C. Mathews, 23, Pattonsburg, was charged Jan. 25 with attempting to produce methamphetamine, Class B felony. He is being held at Ray County Security Housing with bond set at $50,000.
Mathews was arrested during a traffic stop by the Sheriff’s Department on a misdemeanor warrant from the Higginsville Police Department. A search of the vehicle revealed items which are used in the production of methamphetamine.
A 23-year-old Kansas City man was arrested Jan. 15 for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges of non-support. He posted $1,500 bond.
A 29-year-old Odessa man was arrested in Osceola on Jan. 12 for failure to appear on misdemeanor stealing charges. He was transported to Ray County Security Housing and posted $500 bond.
A 48-year-old Kansas City, Kan., man was arrested Jan. 17 for misdemeanor DWI. He posted $750 bond.
A 23-year-old Bethany man was arrested Jan. 22 for speeding 100 mph in a 55 mph zone, Class B misdemeanor. He posted $750 bond.
