Funeral services for Dorothy Gutshall were held Sunday at Pilot Grove No. 1 Baptist Church, Gilman City. Burial was at Pilot Grove No. 1 Cemetery, Gilman City. Arrangements were by the Roberson Funeral Home, Gilman City. Memorials may be made to Grundy County or Jamesport Churches of Christ.

Dorothy Gutshall, 85, Trenton, formerly Gilman City, died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002, at a Kansas City hospital.

Mrs. Gutshall was born Oct. 1, 1917, in Bethany, the daughter of Henry Martin and Rebecca A. (Cook) Taylor.

On July 22, 1942, she married Lewis D. Gutshall. He died on March 21, 2001.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Orville, Ralph, Ray, Dee, and George Taylor; and four sisters, Jan Blanchard, Goldie Hogan, Lucille Hursman, and Marge Baker.

Survivors include one daughter, Penny Tolle; and three sons, Dr. Roger, Hamilton, Dr. Dennis, Kansas City, and Tim Gutshall, Johnstown, Colo.; and eight grandchildren..
