The Adventist Community Service Center would like to report to the community the results of the August activities. Twenty faithful volunteers worked a total of 371 hours; 131 families visited the center with a total of 279 persons.
There were 1,147 articles of clothing distributed along with 52 pairs of shoes, 101 miscellaneous items given away.
Volunteers were Bill and Karen Reed, Marlene Wilder, Nina Clevenger, Francis Wynne, Hazele Tomlinson, Don and Bettejean Johnson, Darlene Durham, Maxine Linville, Lucille Bruce, Eula Jackson, Alice Jestis, Alan Worrel, Viola Huffman, Emma Del Melte, Jacque Welch, Penny Latimar, and our youth volunteers were Amanda Huffman, Chris Huffman and Cali Welach.
We appreciate the generosity of the community and those folks that volunteer their time to enable us to serve those of our community.
