TARKIO, MO — Kevin Hurst of Tarkio and member of the Missouri Corn Growers Association will be among delegates from Missouri traveling to South Korea and the Republic of China, according to a recent announcement by Gov. Jay Nixon. A primary goal of this trade mission will be the signing of several agreements between Missouri and trade organizations in South Korea and Taiwan. The goal is to sell more Missouri goods around the globe. The past two calendar years were the best on record for export sales by Missouri businesses. A total of $28 billion in Missouri-made goods sold around the world during those two years.
