Daviess County Fine Arts Council and Jamesport Community Association would like to invite everyone to the 1st Annual Art and Wine Festival Saturday, April 6, at the A.V. Spillman Event Center in Jamesport.

Local artists from Northwest Missouri have been invited to show and sell their work and creations to the public. This display of local artists is an effort to show the public the many creative and artistic talents of this area under one roof. Also for enjoyment to the public will be wine tasting available by local wineries of Northwest Missouri. The wineries have been invited to taste their wines during the art show, as well as sell unopened bottles of wine.
The entire event is designed to showcase our local artists as well as the local wineries. The event will happen between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. An art auction is scheduled at 4 p.m. Participating artists will submit art to be auctioned as well as local consignors. Appropriate light finger foods will be available. Also etched souvenir wine glasses will be sold for the collector.
The combination of art and wine is the first event of this type ever held in Daviess County as well as Jamesport.
