JAMESPORT, MO — Voters of the Tri-County R-7 School District will be asked to approve a proposed 25-cent tax levy increase in the upcoming spring elections. The proposal is for a 5-year term, raising the levy to $4.38 per $100 of assessed valuation if approved by voters. The additional money would be earmarked for infrastructure improvements, including window replacement, air-conditioning for the high school and elementary school, and light fixture replacement. The school would also look about replacing a school bus.
