During the business meeting, the chapter discussed the continuation of the Jean Groom Memorial scholarship. It was voted overwhelmingly to continue giving a high school senior the scholarship. The club will have a garage sale in October during the citywide sale to raise money. Ruth Frost gave the program "Laughter is the Best Medicine." The chapter will meet again in September.
