Daviess County Nursing and Rehab crowned LaRue Helen Myers queen at a ceremony held May 15 at the facility. LaRue has lived in Gallatin most of her life.
She has been a resident of the facility for two years. She has five children, six grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. Her favorite color is purple and her favorite pastime is crocheting. LaRue was employed by Gallatin’s Ben Franklin store for 30 years. She has blessed many with her beautiful singing voice and smile. She was awarded a bouquet of flowers compliments of Jo’s Floral and a crown.
