Opening day at the Columbia Farmers’ Market was a little chilly and overcast, and windy. Despite the conditions, there was a pretty good crowd. Personally, I’ve always enjoyed heading out to the local market — the meeting new people part, not necessarily the getting up early on Saturday part — and it was a good day to get to know some area farmers.
